Thai Heritage rents traditional Thai dress for women and men in Nimman, Chiang Mai. For the standard dresses on our rails, half day (4 hours) is 390 THB, full day (8 hours) is 680 THB and next-day return (24 hours) is 1,180 THB. The special handmade VIP dresses shown on this site are 1,500 THB. Hair, make-up, photographer and transport are priced separately. Find us on Nimmanhaemin Soi 17, open every day, 08:00–18:00.
How much does it cost to rent a Thai dress in Chiang Mai?
The packages are for the standard dresses on the rails in our shop. Choose how long you keep the dress. Four hours go fast once you count dressing, hair and getting to your first stop. Eight hours costs less per hour, and from October to January the evening light comes before we close at 18:00.

Warm evening light starts about 45 minutes before sunset. Pick a month and a start time to see where it falls in your day.
In October the sun sets around 18:02, so the evening light falls before we close at 18:00. With 8 hours you can keep the dress for it.
Starting at 10:00, your 8 hours run until 18:00.

Which dresses are VIP dresses?
Every dress photographed on this site, the twelve looks and the new pieces, is a special handmade VIP dress, 1,500 THB. The 4-hour, 8-hour and 24-hour packages are for the standard dresses on the rails in our shop. See the VIP dresses.
Is 4 hours enough, or should I take 8?
Four hours go fast once you count dressing, hair and travel. Eight hours works out at about 85 THB an hour, against about 98 THB an hour for four. From October to January the evening light comes before we close at 18:00, so 8 hours can cover it. In the other months, choose 24 hours for sunset photos.
What is included in the price?
The package price is for a standard Thai dress from our rails, for the hours of your package. Shoes are not included with Thai dress. Hair, make-up, photographer and transport are priced separately: see what the price covers.
How much are make-up, a photographer and transport?
With Thai dress, make-up with hair is 800 THB per person, or 150 THB per person for hair only. A photographer is 1,500 THB for 1 hour with 150 retouched photos, or 2,500 THB for 2 hours with 300, per session for any group size. Transport is 300 THB per hour. The school-uniform shoot has the same prices for make-up, hair and the photographer.
Can we have a shoot at the White Temple in Chiang Rai?
Yes, see White Temple shoot, Chiang Rai. A standard Thai dress is 680 THB per person, make-up 1,500 THB (Thai-style) or 800 THB (Japanese or Korean-style), and a photographer 2,500 THB for 1 hour at the temple. Getting to Chiang Rai and back is not included: you travel there on your own.
